Although four years ago nobody heard of “escape games”, these activities are becoming more and more popular! Granby now has its escape game thanks to a family living there. Indeed, Amélia, Daniel and Katie are at the origin of Amedaka Evasion which opened its doors on July 29, 2018. Since then, the young company continues to introduce families to this popular craze for escape games.
Rapid evolution
Having started with the Ballroom Hall, the Condorcet is quickly opened to accommodate more followers. Then, on November 24, a third room was born. Tourmentium was quickly adopted by all. Then, Amedaka's plans have grown: contrary to the original predictions, they will not only host four theaters, but six theaters when they reach full capacity. This means that Amedaka can accommodate up to 44 people at a time!

Amédaka Évasion is the first escape game to be established in Granby. « Finally! » some say. Located at 337 Principale, next to the Master Glacier, the company offers parking at the back (Phoenix street) and a terrace at the front. The escape rooms are spread over two floors: two on the ground floor and possibly four upstairs. And although the exterior of the building has a certain cachet, the interior will charm you. Indeed, the family behind Amedaka seeks to encourage local production. Their wall of celebrities is signed Marc Tanguay (Dunham), and several paintings adorn the walls, all signed Cinthia Lequin (Granby).
