Gabriel Moreau, 68, escaped from Cowansville Penitentiary in the dead of night. Authorities are currently searching for him. Your team has been called in to help retrace his movements and piece together what happened before, during, and after his escape. But Gabriel didn’t simply vanish ; surveillance footage, witness accounts, recovered items, and mysterious messages suggest he left a trail of clues behind him.

Why did he come to Granby? What was he looking for? And above all… why do certain places in the city center seem to hold special significance for him?

Roam the streets of Granby, examine the clues, and piece together Gabriel’s journey—for behind every riddle may lie a part of his story.

HOT DOES IT WORK?

1. Receive your files

Your team picks up an investigation file at the branch containing initial information regarding the disappearance of Gabriel Moreau. Your mission: pick up his trail.

2. Explore the city

The investigation will take you to various locations in downtown Granby. You will need to observe your surroundings, solve puzzles, and track down the clues left behind. Several downtown businesses are in on the investigation. Can you discover which ones?

3. Solve the puzzle

Each clue will allow you to learn more about Gabriel, his past, and the events leading up to his escape. Some clues will help you progress, while others will help you understand what really happened.

4. Discover the truth

As you progress, your perception of the investigation might well change. Your goal is not just to find Gabriel. You will need to understand why he left all these traces behind.
